Vitamin C is the most researched brightening ingredient in skincare, but its classic form, L-ascorbic acid, is unstable and often stings. Lumière uses 15% 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid instead: a stabilised form that stays active in the bottle and converts to vitamin C in the skin, so you get the brightening without the tingle. Ferulic acid and vitamin E reinforce its antioxidant protection, and licorice root extract helps calm the look of uneven tone.

The texture is a lightweight, water-clear serum that absorbs within a minute and leaves no sticky finish, so it layers under moisturiser, SPF and makeup without pilling. The airless, UV-protective bottle keeps light and air out, which is why the serum stays potent to the last drop. In our 4-week consumer study of 112 people, 92% said their skin looked brighter and 94% said it did not sting or irritate.

How to use

Every morning, apply 3–4 drops to clean, dry skin before moisturiser. Always follow with SPF 30 or higher. Can also be used at night; avoid using in the same routine as other strong acids.

Returns

30-day returns from the delivery date. On your first order, our "Love it or return it" promise means you can return anything within 30 days, even if it has been opened or used; on later orders, items must be unopened. US returns include a free prepaid label; international customers pay return shipping. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 5–7 business days after we receive your return.
